Community guidelines

NOiSY grows from trust. These guidelines apply everywhere: in My space, in chats and channels, in team rooms and at every gathering.

1. Be kind

Treat others the way you want to be treated. No hate, harassment, threats or discrimination – for any reason, against anyone.

Ask before you touch, film or photograph someone, and before you share anyone’s contact details or messages. A “no” is a no – also later.

3. Be real

Use your real name or the name people know you by. No fake profiles, no pretending to be someone else, no scams.

4. No spam

Share what is meaningful for the community. No mass messages, no advertising that nobody asked for, no chain messages.

5. Look out for each other

At gatherings, follow the host and the team (e.g. Security). Know your limits with alcohol and other substances, and help when someone is not okay. In an emergency, call 112.

6. Disagree well

Different views are welcome – speak about ideas, not against people.

7. Nothing illegal

No illegal content or activities, no violence, nothing that harms children.

If something is not okay

Use Report (on profiles and messages) or write to hello@noisynode.org. Use Block to stop someone from contacting you. NOiSY looks at every report. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these guidelines.

Thank you for making NOiSY a place where people feel safe to show up as themselves.
